Replacement wiper blades

What should I look for to replace the 9" wipers on my car? It looks like the companies that make wipers for stores like Autozone don't make sizes like this, I tried looking for an MG Midget.

also try www.cobraaccessories.com

Thanks! Places like Moss and Finishline are the only way to go. Even NAPA doesn't carry the small sizes any more.

Believe it or not West Marine carries the identical wiper blade also, it is a replacement for the wiper arms used on some large powerboats, available in 9, 10, 12 and 14 inch lengths.

My old car never had wiper blades. I tried to find them-hours at parts store, calls etc. Finally, I ordered from Finishline - only slightly more than replacement stuff that wouldn't fit/look right from Advance Auto/NAPA -- same thing for the OEM seat belts.

I concur with some other posts :

my old 156 spf has different wiper blades than the newer cars. i found the EXACT replacement from :

http://mossmotors.com/Home.aspx

and part number is : Moss part # 165-046. Part number cross references to a 1973-1976 AH Sprite or MG Midget, retails for $14.95 each. This particular part came packaged in a TEX Classic wrapper, imported from Tex in England and sold thru Moss , and presumably other MG suppliers.

The 165-046s from Moss arrived, they're TEX brand made in England (Whew, yea!), 9" stainless. The attatchement method to the arm is different though, these are the type that slide on, the original (also TEX) that came on my SPF have a U shaped arm that the wipers hook into. The 2 designs are identical except for that attatchment method so I removed the clips that hold the assemblies together and swapped the mount part. This should guarantee that it wont rain around here now.
