Fred, No, I had to order a new thermostat from Summit Racing ( the adjustable Painless Wiring unit). I also ordered a couble 75 amp relays for the fan (1 spare) from Waytek Wire. They're made by Bosch and have screw lugs for the main power wiring, no crimps or spade connectors to fail. I've always felt the standard 30 amp relays were pretty much maxed out with the larger, hi-cfm/amp fans. I won't be till the weeked before I have a good test. I'm a HVAC contractor so my butt's in high gear right now... Dave |
after reading all the previous post i have a ?
I too have a LS 427 with a 428 Fe but i have an engine driven fan.It runs @ 175-180 normally until i get intraffic and its over 85 F.question.can I, should I,add a electric fan in combonation with the engine driven one ? Note my existing fan is really well shrouded behind the radiator .i would assume a pusher fan would be the unit to use Best mike |
