adhesive?
I'm unpacking parts and making preperations for mounting . I find that one of the side rear view bullet mirror has seperated. Until now I didn't know that I had a flat mirror underneath. The original mirror is a flat mirror and a convex mirror was stuck on with double sided adhesive foam. Most but not all of the adhesive has dried out . The foam is in tact. What adhesive would you suggest I apply to restick the foam and mirrors?

I would remove the old foam and use 3-M two sided foam tape with 3-M adhesion promoter 3-M part #06396
works great. I used it to mount my 427 badges and tack down the carpet in my car

you can also clean the old foam tape off and use a clear silicone sealent on it, or you can buy a rear view mirror mounting glue kit, buy it at any auto parts store and use it, just make sure the glass is clean
