Has anyone ever had experience useing both an engine driven fan and electric combined ? my car is fine except warm days in traffic ( eng .driven fan ) I thought adding a elec. pusher would help in traffic.
thanx

Mike,
That is exactly what I have on my '67 S/S 396 Camaro.
It worked.

Mike -
You may want to research more into the causes of overheating before you settle on a solution. For example, if like me, you're not running a vacuum advance, the engine will run hotter at idle than it would if the timing were advanced. It's also possible that the fan you have is not sufficiently shrouded and sealed to allow it to effectively pull/push air through the radiator. There may be other reasons why your engine tends to run hot. Good luck.

You may be better off with just a large pull type quality electric fan. Front fans my block some air.
