IRS service
hello,
I am thinking about having my ford 8.8 IRS serviced, as I have a wheel that is "wobbling" on the rear. we have checked all the usual stuff, pins for the drive, knock off spinner, axel nut....everything is OK as far as I can tell. so, if you were going to take your IRS down and have it rebuilt, what special things would you have done to it? this is one of the T bird rear ends for the early SPF cars. bearings? seals? boots?...anything else. Anyone in the business, can you tell me about what it would cost to have all this done? thanks Buzz |
