Jag rear problem
I went for a ride a couple weeks ago and all of a sudden the car wasn't putting any power to the rear wheels. I pulled the differential out of the car and discovered bolts that hold the clutch and spider gear assembly together had come loose in the Power-Loc differential. Could this have happened for any other reason than not being torqued properly?
See picture in my gallery Also, while I have this out of the car can anyone tell me if they upgraded to Wilwood brakes after having the standard Jag inboard brakes, and if there was a worthwhile improvement to braking. Thanks in advance Jerry |

As long as the rear end is our and needing work I would consider a pair of Mark Williams stub axels. They are built from better material and have quite a few more splines on them. The Jab stub axels in my car were twisted pretty badly and fortunately that was discovered before a failure that would have been very unpleasant.
