Breather Change

This may sound like a dumb question. I want to replace my standard, chrome, "Ford Motorsports" breather on my valve cover with a K&N filer one. I'm currently running a Roush 402R motor in my SPF. I read on one of the merchant sites that if I change this I may have to some engine adjustment. Is this correct? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Don't think you would have to. BTW I sent Roush a request on the valve covers but have not heard anything. The guys in the know are on the road for the summer shows I think. Will follow up again for you.

The only adjustment would be idle mixture, and then only if one filter breathes a lot freer (freer??? ) how about easier? than the other.

Mike:
Unless you're removing or adding a PCV valve no adjustment is necessary.
