Ford clutch help
 
When using a stock Ford 351 clutch, how far does the pressure plate tangs move inorder to disengage. My tilton HTB is moving about 3/4 in and just "barely
releasing the clutch. Help!!

should be enough Grover, I wonder if your HTB is adjusted out far enough.

3/4 inch is what it is supposed to move ( it is how far mine moves on my 351 ). I actually had to put in a stop.

Is there play at the front end? Adjust the slave rod until the TO bearing is just touching the pressure plate fingers, you should be okay.
