gauge question

Hello I am having trouble with my electronic SW gauges i have tried senders but they keep messing up. I have a complete set of AutoMeter cobra mechanical gauges that I am thinking of putting in but the the tach and speedo are 3.75" and the SW are only 3" so I would have to cut the dash again. At a recent show I saw a csx 4000 series with shelby american gauges that looked 3". Just wanted to get some opinions.

Biggest problem from my experience with SW gauges and senders is that they both need excellent grounds. I too had issues with senders and gauge readings until I made sure each gauge and sender for the gauge had a good ground. FWIW

I can add to this in I now use COP SLIP as a sealent because it uses copper balls to help seal the threads and it make a better elecrtical connetion to the block or put the sender is being threaded into.

:D

I am using SW gauges and have had no problems with them, other than they fog up when it is cold
