Search Gates/Goodyear hose database
I am putting together a FE into a Hurricane chassis. Using a hybrid radiator, drivers side top inlet, drivers side lower outlet.
The top configuration was done this way to appear as the originals were built, using the L tube in the line. The lower hose requires a number of bends to miss all the pieces. Current install is showing multiple pieces with tubes/hoses and about 6 clamps. I would like to come up with less pieces. Is there a way to navigate one of the hose manufacturers system to find hoses that I could buy and possible eliminate some of the joints. Does any one of them offer a search by centerline and bend radius dimensions? Or does it take an "insider" to come up with this type info? thanks Paul |
I used stainless flex hose top and bottom, they make it in different lengths, the one on the bottom looks like a snake, the way I had to thread it around the steering, but it works fine
