Weber Information?
Does anyone know if there is a catalog of Weber linkage and parts...not just a parts number list but one with pictures so a person can identify a part?
To be honest Redline Weber dealers have been less than helpful ... more like "why are you bothering me". I know there must be one out there because a couple of the Weber dealer sites have a few pictures of various throttle stops, linkages etc. ...Pierce Manifolds probably having the best. Any Ideas? |
I had the same response from the redline/weber folks. Not a good tactic... I went with TWM FI

Gary try this: http://www.piercemanifolds.com/products.htm

G.R.: Get Pat Braden's Weber Carburetors book. He covers just about everything related to Webers.

Agree with your assessment of Redline "help". They are worthless and act like they don't want your business.
A source for linkage parts is Kinsler Fuel Injection. Look up their webpage and download their catalog. On page 22 you will find bellcranks and links, on page 23 you will find a good explanation of linkage set up. The write up is worth reading even if you don't buy anything from them. They will not have the Weber links you need, however. Everyone seems to recommend Pierce. |
Redline will never get another phone call from me...ever. The guy I talked to about manifolds and stack filters a couple months back was not just unhelpful, but downright obnoxious. Not sure how a business with buttheads as employees (only spoke with one guy, so that might be harsh) makes it in this business, but they seem to do alright...

What is it with the Weber people? A top-secret catalog or what? Redline Weber has one of the worst tech reps I've ever encountered, Bob something or other, absolutely frigging rude and obnoxious |
