Pic of ERA rear anti sway bar?

Anyone have a picture they can post of an installed rear anti sway bar on their ERA? Just put one on my car and would like something to look at to make sure I have everthing oriented correctly. Concerned a bit about how much the rod ends hang down under the frame.
Thanks!
Scott

Picture of outside link on ERA

All I have is a picture of the outboard link which is the lowest part.

There should be no hanging down Scott

HSSS427 Scott I don't have a camera but if you contact ERA Bob should be able to help you. The main mount are part of the chassic where the roller supports where. The ends mount on brackets that go to the lower control arms. The brackets are parallel to the ground. By rod ends, are you talking about the link kits? Once the link kit is on cut the extra bolt end off. LEAVE enough to take apart and reinstall. Rick Lake

Sorry I don't have any pictures today. Had a double-hernia operation yesterday and I may not get into work today. :(

Just follow the manual diagram. My recollection is that, when the suspension is hanging down, there's about 1" clearance between the bar and the lower control arm. That will increase a bit as the suspension goes to normal ride height.
Put the vertical link in from the bottom so that the extra threads are at the top.

Bob,
Sorry to hear about the surgery - no fun. Peter needs to keep you out of the heavy lifting ;-)

One thing I'm trying to determine is if I have the bar itself upside down. I noticed the ends of the bar are angled/twisted so the flat surface is either pointing outboard, or inboard. I have them installed so it's pointing outboard. Will post a picture shortly.

Also, I did the install with the car sitting on it's tires, ie at ride height more or less. Is that correct or should I have installed with the wheels off the ground and car on jack stands?
Thanks!
Scott

Boy that does seem kinda low. The ERA rear eliminates that height problem (not that that helps you any).

You can raise it up a bit by shortening the spacer tubes but we've never had a problem. Because the bar link rises and falls with the wheel, ground clearance remains pretty constant. The only way you could hook it is to straddle a 5" curb right next to the tire. If you can do that, you have a serious problem (or talent).
