toploader throwout bearing
Looking at hydralic throwout bearing for my toploader in my cobra,Would like some opinions on different brands and prices.Have a wilwood master cylinder in car with external slave cylinder, but pedal is hard and when I push in pedal it moves motor and transmission back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Transmission is toploader with big shafts.

The slave cylinder must be mounted on the block or bellhousing, not on the chassis, which will solve your second problem. Proper sizing of the master and slave should bring your pedal pressure down to reasonable levels. It's a lot easier to fiddle with an external system than changing to a concentric bearing, which are very sensitive to setup and difficult to fix if something goes wrong.
