One Wire Alternator (Powermaster)

Need some help please. I have a Powermaster one wire 140 amp. alternator on my Ford truck ,6 clyl. 300 ci. It's an ice cream truck.
I replaced my thermostst today and accidentially dumped anti freeze on and into the alt. when removing a heater hose. The alt. no longer charges. I flushed with fresh water and tried blowing out the alt. with an air hose. Still does not charge, voltmeter shows a discharge about 11 1/2 volts. Exciter is not kicking in when I rev engine.
What do you think, is my alt. trashed? Anyone have any ideas on what to try next.
