Clutch is Gone

:mad:Clutch went out on my 67 EM Cobra this weekend. Any recommendations on the best place to get repaired in the North Metro Atlanta area?

Try doing it yourself, it's not that difficult.

Time to learn

Frayne You need basic tools and torque wrench for this repair. Jack stands and floor jack to do the work. Lefty, loosey. Righty tighty. It's that simple. You will need another guy to help with the weight of the trans in and out of the car unless you are strong and dumb like some of us that use our stomachs as lifts. ERA is good about this repair, everything comes out from inside the car. You will need the flor jack to support the motor while the trans is out. Take your time, it's a full day job. Goto Pepboys or and good auto store and get a book that is closest to the year of your car and lookup R&R clutch assembly. If worried there must be other cobra or mustang members in the area that could help for a drive in the car when done.;):) Rick L.
