Air cleaner is a paxton carb hat, for supercharger...Its pretty short..
I am installing supercharger....Need to find a new Carb hat now, or not install supercahrger, cant go with without a hood or modify any... so the search is on..... Brandon......... |
So you were running the carb hat without the charger, correct?
I'd think the carb hat would be fine if there was a super charger pushing the air thru it. |
Get rid of the choke if you have one and mill the air horn off. Much better air flow if you have an aircleaner that is close to the top of the carb.

If you stay with the carb, here is a good air cleaner calculator. http://www.secondstrike.com/Technica...leanerCalc.asp Once you start playing with it, you will see that the new style "cleanable foam" air cleaner flows a lot more air as compared to paper element. |
