msd noise feedback off power wire question

the power wire to turn on an msd 6al is wired to a common switch panel, sharing ground with most all other switches and power with water pump and other accessories. one of these accessories is the sway bar adjuster which is real sensitive. i've come up with some problems with the lighting on the actuator and it seems to happen when the ignition switch is activated or deactivated and has possibly damaged the delicate innards.

the main msd power and negative wires are wired direct to the battery. it is just the switched wire that shares common wires with the switch panel.

can noise be transmitted off the msd box back through the hot switched wire like plug and coil wires?

In basic terms, yes.

Two filters may be necessary to remove noise from your lines or a change in the wire ( using shielded wire helps on some noise problems ). You may also want to change the routing of the wires.

Simple filters are nothing more than a couple of capacitors and inductors that will not allow noise to be tranmitted.

Hope this helps.

roger the filters, had thought about this but didn't know if they could be used on the switched power wire.

right now my best idea is to seperate the delicate stuff like efi and bar adjusters from other sources of noise. the switch panel shares all grounds and positive is shared with msd, waterpump, and adjusters. prob source of some ghost problems i've been having.
