Soft Top Install
I am in the process of installing a soft top on my car and running into some issues. The top is a Robbins top, should fit original car configurations. Car is Hurricane which is pretty true to original.
First fitting, the rollbar seems to be an issue. It isn't overly tall. When I put the bows in, when you rotate the back hoop to its general location, it is in front of the roll bar and about an inch below the top of it. I'm following the ERA instructions, knowing I will have to cut and patch the rear window for the support bar. Does anyone have pictures of their bows in place without the top on so I can see the position in relation to the roll bar? Also, does the main hoop sit vertical or is it canted back some amount? Thanks Paul |
