Need-Plastic replica engine & 400 Trans. for project.
Hello, I'm wanting to buy or rent, a used 350 Chevy plastic engine replica and a turbo 400 transmission for mock-up project. These things are too damn expensive for a one time use :eek:

LT5 = sexiest looking engine that GM ever conceived (via Mercury Marine).
Kevin, maybe a local boneyard has one lying around that they will let you lather up and cover in resin/'glass to make a quickee mold from. It would be rough but might be good enough for what you need it for. -Dean |

I know someone recently was selling Ford FE engines cast in resin/plastic on Ebay for mock-up purposes. Maybe they also have Chevy blocks available. Do a search on ebay.

The cheapest I've found is the P-AYR Chevy 350 Short Block Replica Engine.
