Leaking 3 speed with OD

My trans is an aluminum 3 spd with OD. I have been having problems with it throwing oil out of the vent hole in the top loader cover.... I ordered new gasket set today but am preparing for the worst. Hay anybody heard of such a problem? Thanks.

Sounds like it might be too full of oil. Just a thought.

That was my first thought. No, it is just below the fill plug. The gasket that was in it was full of oil on the top of the gasket. This really has me bugged.

I think I found the culprit that caused my leak.... The top cover had a gasket on it that had 5 vent holes. The OEM part i bought today only has two. I am thinking it was just throwing oil up like it should and had too many escape routes.... We'll see tomorrow after some hi speed driving....
