Does anyone sell chrome pentroof valve covers for 351W?

I realize there are some ancient posts on here on this subject, but I didn't see anything recent so I'll ask the question...

Does anyone sell chrome pentroof valve covers for a 351W? Or does anyone sell an adaptor plate to allow you to install pentroof covers on a 351W?

Does anyone have such a setup already, and can they post pictures?

I have cast pent roof covers for 351W. They are made for 351W, not adapted. Bought them from PAW but don't know if they carry them anymore. "Superhart" has adapted cast covers on his car I think. Do a member search and you'll find his gallery.
Forte might sell adapters.

Breeze automotive and fortes parts sell adapters for Small Block Fords that allow you to run FE valve covers.

DSC markets some real nice FE covers. Anthony B uses these on 3016.

I don't mean this to sound like a commercial but, to the best of my knowledge, no one makes a chromed steel pentroof valve cover specifically for the Windsor motor (302, 351). The only way to do it is to purchase chromed FE valve covers and a set of adapters from me. I sell them directly or they are obtainable from Forte or Breeze Motors. The price is the same via either route. On my personal Cobra I use the adapter kit and chromed steel valve covers and they work great. The only problem is that the chromed covers do not come with built-in oil baffles so they must be fabricated, an easy project. On my web page you will find the entire procedure for making baffles and installing them. If you are interested in a kit, click on the link below and I will be happy to assist you.

If you need chrome Pentroofs with or without an oil filler/breather Cobranda has them. They are great to deal with on parts like that. I knock the pins off the 427 emblems and use emblem adhesive tape rather than drilling your new Pentroofs. http://www.cobranda.com/ch427perovac.html

Trust SuperHart

I purchased valve cover adapters from SuperHart. They allow you to bolt true 427 style valve covers (both cast aluminum or stamped steel) to 351 heads. The adapter plates are thin (about 3/8") so they do not show but they are very strong. The design is very neat; SuperHart counter-sunks all screw holes to create a very flat surface for the gaskets to pervent oil leaks. The machine work is top notch!

He also provides great instructions and advice from years of fitting all types of valve covers. The service is outstanding; I needed slightly longer screws and SuperHart machined the screw heads and sent them to me with a few days at no charge.

Strongly consider giving your business to SuperHart. I am a satisfied customer; no more, no personal interest. I really appreciate great workmanship and service.

He's the man! It's because of him I have a 351W dual quad manifold for Holley carbs!

To Cobra29 and LMH, thanks a bunch for the kind comments about my kit. One thing I need to clear up though is my tips and experience is only from fiddling with different versions of FE valve covers, not from ALL KINDS of valve covers. I have never been able to figure out how to adapt FE covers to Cleveland engines, Ford 429-460 motors or Chevy engines (GASP Blasphemy). The footprint of the Cleveland valve cover is too large to fit the FE covers without problem and there aren't enough Chevy motors in Cobras to justify producing a kit for that application.

If anyone wants to purchase a kit, they are available directly from me or, if you prefer, through Mark Reynolds at Breeze Motors or Mike Forte at Forte's Parts Connection. The price is the same from all three sources. The link below will take you to the Product Page. There is a Mail Link at the bottom of the page for any questions.

Does anyone have a picture of a 351 with the chrome FE valve covers, a single quad and turkey pan?
