Final Machine Work on A Dart Block

Hey all,
What kind of finish machine work is required on a new Dart block before assembly?

Comparing cost of machine work on my production 351W block to that of a 351W Dart block.

It depends on the finished product you are aiming for >?

is there a stroker kit involved > ?

They're already clearanced for stroker kits.

Depending on the bore you want, you'll either need to finish hone, or bore/hone, and square deck to the deck height that you need. If you switch to main studs, you will need to align hone as well.

Thanks guys. Will be 4" stroke either block, nothing outlandish.

I'm leaving Illinois for a trip out rt 66 with sides to Carlsbad, Pheonix, Grand Canyon--Want me to bring you one? They come about .010 under on the bores for sizing to the pistons used--the shp blocks are lighter than the regular series and you can get them at 4.125(undersize for clean up) which with the 4.000 stroke does the number ---

You can go bigger but you cut down the number of rebuilds you can do--

Jerry, got an idea on price?
