Will a chevy small block 350 fit? Any other chevy motor by chance?

I would think that physcally a Chevy motor SB or BB would fit in most Cobra replicas. I scratch built my own with an LS6 and a 6 speed tremec with out issues. You will need to verify that once you settle on the kit. Good luck, John

SB or BB will fit....but if you build the SB right, you won't need a BB.

Seen a bunch of them in my time. Ain't anything wrong with em either. Might keep this in mind though. Usially after a resale to a second or third owner, most better built Cobra replicas end up with some kind of Ford motor in them though. Like it or not that Chevy motor DOES effect the resale of a reprodution Cobra. I know personally that I tend to keep the same cars for quite some long time, but in the end I have sold every car that I have ever owned, sans the current ones. Something to think about when considering the overall long term ownership of one of these hot rods.

I wouldn't put a Chevy motor. Mine has had one since day 1. It runs like a bat outta hell, but as for resale, it is pathetic at best. I would rather have a SBF with less power than a SBC that runs good.
If I were going to put another SBC in one, spend the money and go with an LS1 or something all aluminum. If you are going to do it, do it right.
