Some lifters compress easy? should I worry?

I was adjusting my valves [Hydraulic lifters] and I noticed that some lifters were easier to compress [while pushing on the back of the rocker arm] than others. I was careful to get the zero lash and go 1/2 turn from there.
Just a note: This 351w runs great and I never had a valvetrain issue [noise or anything else]. All the preloads were exactly the same before I went through them again.
This is a Comp Cam valvetrain.
The engine has been sitting for a month and I wonder if the valves that were open bled down the lifters. I didn't take note of what valves were open during this time.
I am thinking that while the engine is running all lifters are properly pumped up and working well.
Am I worrying for nothing?
Thanks
Lou

No worries....that's normal.

On the valves where the lifters are not full, just be extra careful about setting them as it's really easy to compress them.

I was extra careful, Thanks Brent:)

It is accepted as normal, all hydraulics bleed down.

But the lifter will be noisy at next start up, it all depends on the quality of the oil system as to how quick they "fill up" again.

Technically all lifters should pass a "bleed down test" with a special test fluid.

Lifters with high end of clearance tolerance have fast bleed down rates.

There are "fast bleed lifters" like Crane High Intensity and Rhoads.
