Wow, duh....
Use some thread sealant on the threads. Check to make sure that it doesn't have an o-ring seal first, as some of the aftermarket aluminum blocks do.

Take a bolt head that fits it....double nut the shank or weld a nut on. Use the bolt head to loosen and tighten it.

if it is the screw in plug with o ring i have used anti seize on the threads and o ring, makes removal lots easier.

In the old days, we used shellac.....I agree with Blykins, a small smear of silicone, it sucks having to use a hammer and chisel to remove parts!!

also seen em use epoxy, sucks throwing up all over the track.
