Call Keith Craft and discuss what your goals, likes, and dislikes are. Then let him recommend and sell you your heads and cam. He typically deals in enough volume he can pull it off the shelf, toss it in the cnc and custom port it, and ship it to you as quick as you can get it anywhere else, very competitively priced.

My second choice would be Blykins (I hope I spelled that right). Bill spends a lot of time giving free advise on this forum.

In fact, any of the engine builders who contribute on this forum, is an excellent choice. They all deserve your business.

Well, you got the username right, but the first name is a little off.....:)

Greg, the TW heads are awesome. I use TFS heads for quite a few builds and they never disappoint. For your 331, I would use the 185cc heads and the 58cc chambers work really well with flat top pistons to yield a 10.25-10.5 ompression ratio.

I've never used a Trick Flow cam, although they probably just re-package a Comp, Crane, etc. TFS is owned by the company that owns Summit Racing.

If you're wanting a hydraulic roller that will yield a 6000-ish hp peak, you'll want to stay down around 220-224 @ .050". A 110 LSA works well and I'd keep the lift somewhere around the .600" mark.

If you wanted something off the shelf, I would use a Comp XR276. However, you can usually get something a little closer with a custom grind.

You'll have a strong performer with your combo...
