Small Block 302 Machine Shop Recommendation
I'm building a fairly mild to moderate 331 stroker street motor. Can anyone please offer feedback on how much I should expect to pay to have a bare 302 block hot tanked, 8 cyls bored/honed, main journals line bored, block decked? Are there any other must haves while at the machine shop? Any recommended machine shops in So Cal? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Depending on the rods/rod bolts used, you will most likely have to notch the bottom of the cylinders a little...........that is if using a factory block,after market blocks are clearance for this.....
