It is over 4,500, but the built theirs to produce substantially more power than what I'm looking to.

Just month ago,I gave a cousin a 351-W short block and a set of Ford E4 heads,FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has always helped me out when I needed it and was looking for a 351-W to rebuild to put in his newly acquired 1966 Ford F-100 truck........mild cam and carb,he'll likely end up with a nice engine in the 325 hp/350 lb ft torque range........... The block needed boring which we knew from day 1, and he did some nice port/polish work on the heads,2cd hand alum intake and used Holley 650 double pumper,didn't ask,but since he's doing the work himself,I'm gessing he'll have less than $3,000.00 in it when it's fired up....... Just something to think about...... David |
