Hi
Would appreciate your help identifying the pistons I have to order for my 1972 Ford 351w from the pictures and the measurement ? Any idea, suggestion, guidance ?

Could you expand on the question a bit? What are you trying to accomplish? Has the block been machined? Are you going with a stroker crank or standard?
Usually you order pistons to fit the bore size after machining- 4.020, 4.030, etc.... and the rings to fit the pistons and bore size. Usually rings need to be sized for proper ring gap, but not all.
Connecting rods are usually reused unless you are planning on a substantial power increase or a stroker set up. However, usually you would want to have your rod bores checked and rebored to size, the main crank bores honed to size, and new pins with the pistons, which is how most pistons come any way. If you have press in pins, you will need to have a engine machine shop install them. Floating piston pins you can do yourself.

Lots more information you will need to know. This is just a start..

Bob thanks for your feedback - you may say why now...I will say because it took me 2 months to understand and appreciate my block is now going to machine shop, got all the necessary parts to basically rebuild it!
