289/302 sbf weber crossram manifold
Anyone possibly have one or know of one for sale?
Thanks Ross |
I've seen 'em...don't remember where.
Have you tried Jim Inglese? Cheers! Dugly  |
Yes, but no joy. The last one I saw was from Moon but also no more.
Thanks Ross |
I know that one has resently been produced, unfortunately I can't remember who did it. You might want to check with Blue Thunder or contact Pirce Manifolds.
|
Ross,
I just checked on the Pierce Manifold site and I did not see a cross flow for the 289-302. Nor sure if they would make one for you, and what that might cost? The only cross flow one that I saw under the Ford heading was for a Cortina. Jim |
Thanks John and Jim. Please keep an eye out for one.

Redline makes some unusual manifolds...my favorite GT40 replica has a Ford Cleveland with Webers on a Redline manifold. I did a google image search and found a SBF cross ram manifold that had a ribbed valley cover...enlarged the photo and it said Redline on that manifold. It might be worth a try.
Cheers and good luck! Dugly  |
|
Tom, that`s by far the best way to go, but I prefer the vintage look for this project. Thanks,
Ross |
With a little bit of welding and machine work...

Thanks Tom. Here is another read...AC Owners Club - The last RS car is born
I chatted to Gus at Road America in 2010 and pointed him to Mooneyes for this one! Have been given a link to an Australian manufacturer, but as of yet no reply... |

I have one. Do you have any questions about it?
I got it from Moon a few years ago, they said it came from Blue Thunder but they're not answering the phone any more? |
The only two questions I do have are 1. condition and 2. Is it for sale? Please PM me with your price if you do want to sell.
Thanks, Ross |
It's new and unused, I bought it several years ago from Moon, and haven't done anything with it. I also have a 302 Ida manifold, I haven't decided which I'm going to use yet, I'm not to that point yet.

This guy (email: guido36@att.net) had some in 2014 - may be worth a try: Rare Weber DCOE Cross Ram Intake Manifolds SBF & SBC | The H.A.M.B.
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/a...4-jpg.2690510/ Inglese has some kits (with carbs) listed, but not sure if they're still available. 8-Stack systems http://www.jiminglese.com/images/weber5007010.jpg |

Brian, thank you too, but I had tried both Jim and Guido with no joy before I posted that I was looking. Appreciate your trouble though! Best, Ross |
