Running NGK R TR5 plugs, they came in the car. seems like it is doing well. 302 Ford MSD distributor and Edelbrock Dual Carb setup with aluminum SVO heads. was thinking of using something else, but if aint broke, dont mess with it...

I'm running NGK R in my 302 also. What gap are you set at?

Plug looks pretty good. Analysis needs to take mileage into account. Outer shell dark carbon shows average of the chamber colour. (Average of all conditions, startup from cold, idle, cruise, wide open, etc).

The first NGK plugs I ever saw were in the 1972 Yamaha snowmobile my dad bought for me brand new. In the last 48 years, I've made them 1st choice for every application from my string trimmer to my Harleys to my v10 F250. O2 sensors, and Duramax glow plugs too. Never a single problem. They will go in both of my Windsor-powered Cobras, no doubt.
