Any dyno test using the Price Motorsport 2x4 manifold?

I have had this intake with my custom pair of 650 Holleys for about 6 years on my 427 Windsor/Dart build. I had it on a chassis dyno back in 2018 and was getting 479 HP/505 Torque @ 5500 RPM where it flattend out.

Anyone else running this intake have any engine dyno or chassis dyno numbers to compare? Did you have any porting done to your manifold?

Only thing I did was open up the plenum bores to 1.720 and some mild blending.

OP (give me a name and I won't use OP) I noticed in your top pic, several sharpie numbers along the top of the intake manifold ports near the gasket surface. What were you measuring/recording, if you don't mind my asking?

p.s. very nice power numbers do you have dyno chart. I am curious about what the torque curve looks like

That intake picture isn't mine since I had deleted some old pictures of my intake before it was installed. Only dyno test is the Dynojet one pictured. Here is a pic of my intake when I had it on the mill boring out the plenum bores. I may have some other pics.

I noticed you chose to not bore the plenum bores normal to the carburetor mounting flange surface. Was that a convenience choice or something else?

The bores were indicated straight. Price cast the manifold with one height and then either angle mills the 4 degree cut or flat mills the carb surface down lower for the tight hood clearance Cobras.

I have the Price intake (Milled flat as my engine sits flat in the frame)on my BDR with 2 500cfm Edelbrock AVS2s.

Used 4 hole Edelbrock 1/2 wood spacers so no boring for the butterflies was needed.

Needed to Jet the primaries and secondaries way down to an acceptable AFR though. Probably because I'm not running progressive linkage.

My intake ports were smaller (especially on the bottom area) than the Victor Jr heads I have. I didn't mess with matching them as I'm going to a set of AFR heads sometime in the future.

No dyno number to share though.

Numbers could be air flow numbers. Whats the deal with only one vac chamber on the front carb?

I opened up the plenum bores to match the spacer and to give more plenum volume since a 427 sized Windsor with good heads is really a big block with same bore/stroke as an FE 428.
Yes that manifold picture...not mine... shows flow numbers but not sure if that was before or after porting.
The carb setup that I later came up with is a Holley 1850 that I modified to 650/660 CFM specs using a 750 base plate. A special blend cut at base of carb body is needed.
The rear carb is a 4224 660 Center Squirter that I setup same A/F specs like the front carb.
When cruising around at less than full throttle you are using the primary barrels of the front carb. When you go beyond 40% throttle travel the custom linkage starts to pull in the rear secondary carb which being the 4224 has a very quick secondary progression at almost 1 to 1 and center squirt takes care of any bog. The front carb vac. secondary with light spring comes in at same time.
Weighing less than 3000 lbs. with me in driver seat and over 500 lbs. ft. torque with a manual trans the response is quick with no bog.
Would be great if one of the custom carb shops could build small bowl double pump carbs for inline Holley use but so far nothing for that.
Works great with this intake manifold!
