The original Daytona Coupes 289s were only putting out around 335 BHP at the crank! Just amazing how the technology has changed! Cheers, Dennis

This was a 4.060" x 3.000" combination. AFR 185cc heads with one of my custom valve spring packages, ported Victor Jr. intake, R&R aluminum rods, custom Racetec forged pistons with a 1mm/1mm/2mm ring pack, custom solid roller camshaft. Used a late model Explorer roller block.

Thanks for sharing! I will be in contact after the New Year to discuss some parts for my upcoming build this spring.

Very impressive, especially with the 185cc heads!

blykins 12-16-2023 09:35 AM

Hi Gary, I dyno'd it with a Q-750 Quick Fuel.
