Remember, as I stated above, the distributer is from Progression which is fully electronic, it only uses a customer supplied coil, no ignition black box needed.
It stores the timing data in the memory chip from your phone via Wi-Fi or defaults to a setting in the memory.

This is why I will change out the dist to rule it out, it's the only thing left.

This thread might help. One of the Pantera guys had issues with Progression distributor. Was a timing issue.

Hi All,
Well, I figured out my non start backfiring problem, I took another look at the dist cap and I noticed the brass rotor contact was 180 off. I was using the rear of it instead of the front end for #1 cylinder. WOWE is me, sometimes I make stupid mistakes, lol.
