the speed issue...
 
ok folks i'm comming closer to my decision....... i'm goin to go with a 351W crate engine rated at 405HP at the flywheel, alum. bell housing, centerforce dual friction clutch, tremec dual friction clutch, and a 3.55 or maby 3.73 gear......also i plan to put 18X10" wheelson the rear with 305/35/18 (or the widest or skinniest thing i can find).........what would yall say this thing is gonna run overall??????quater mile?????0-60 MPH???? any thought would greatly help..

In theory, 10.97 @ 124 mph assuming great traction which won't happen with street tires. In reality, probably more like 12 flat.

I used for 2,700 lbs including driver for weight.
