48IDA: Fuel pressure
What would be the best fuel pressure for a 48IDA system ?
I assume 3.0 to 3.5 psi. Is this correct ? Your advice is appreciated. Best regards, Walter |
anything above 3 is a risk...I actually run 2psi on my system....above 3 and you can blow out the seals.

I run 2.5 on mine. Be sure to run a pressure return line to keep the carbs from leaking when you turn them off hot. Do a search on webers to see the past threads that talk about this phenomenon and its avoidance.

Thanks for your advice. I ordered a fuel pressure regulator (from Pierce - already got it) and I installed a fuel return line in order to be on the safe side. Walter |
