Car Craft article
Did anyone see the latest Car Craft article on the 400 HP 302? The bottom end was completely stock, including the camshaft! They used AFR heads (165's I think) and 1.7:1 roller rockers, an aftermarket intake and a 4 barrel carb (the details escape me) with no other mods. I thought it was good reading, check it out.

Yeah I saw that.
Those must be SOME heads! I have heard good things about the AFR 185s for racing apps so I guess it doesn't surprise me.

Don't take too seriously product reviews in car magazines, they are just advertisements for the most part. HP is made with good heads, but don't take the numbers they throw out as gospel.
