What have I got ?
Can any of you guys with the software that calculates HP / T tell me what my motor produces on paper. I'm curious because it seems much stronger than my builder told me it would be.

Randy,
Could you give me the bore and stroke and also the cam specs, and preferably not the 50% ones but the seat to seat. If I know the lift, duration, and such my program will be pretty close except the torque will be low. The RPM it gives the power and torque at will be right on. I have a 50% spec convertor to convert to seat to seat but the different cams don't seem to use the same grinds so some times that is way off. If youy cam card doens't show the seat to seat then give me as close as you can the total lift and duration and I will see if I can make a close estimate. Ron |
GeorgiaSnake,
Without the cam specs. I have to make some assumptions (assume .500 lift I & E), but this gives me 427 hp at 5500 and 440 lb/ft torque at 4000. I could refine these numbers a little given the cam specs. h dog |

I built a 351W Scat stroker for a friends Fox body street car last year and it pulled 442HP @ 6200 RPM. It was very close to your build except it had a Victor JR and a 4150 Mech 2nd .He is going to Willy's carb shop to put the car on the chassis dyno in Aug. I will send those #s if I can remember it. |
From the cam card.
