Best MSD Coil for the Street
 
Hi guys

Running an MSD 6AL and Blaster 2 coil. Not overly happy with the coil output, been testing out different plug gaps - upto 1.2mm (I think that's about 48"). Coil has run out of puff..

Have any of you had good experiences with MSD's HVC or HVCII coils? Both are for street use to work with the 6AL but their technical specifications are both scant in detail (in the MSD catalogue) and I find not directly comparable across models.

Any help would be appreciated..

For those who followed my post about the metal fragments in the oil, we pulled the pan and checked the bearings out. One was a bit suss so it got replaced. Most of the metal I found came from my oil filter cutting technique....! DOH
