AFR 185 Heads, Stud or Pedestal
I am planning to put AFR 185 heads on a 351W - 393 stroker. I am inclined to go with stud mounted rockers. Any good reasons to use pedestal instead?
Thanks, auto10x Bill |
With the kind of rev limit I suspect you will observe in that stroker (6000?) I would have thought stud is fine. Are you going to the 7/16" dia studs if you have that option?
These seem to work fine for me, and I have some fairly stout valve springs. HTH |
I used studs on mine, Bill. No problems.
