Goaztecs if it is the origonal engine Iwould take it out bag it and stick in corner. The 69 block presents one problem the deck is .025- .040 shorter than say a 71 block depending on how much the machine shop took off of it. If you decide to use it special pistions will have to be ordered. Nobody that I know of makes an off the shelf pistion that is forged.
