SCE copper head gaskets...
Hi guys;
What are you thinking about copper head gaskets and SCE products? http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...36064&x=9&y=14 |
The one problem with solid copper gaskets is that you MUST use silicone around the water jackets to seal the gasket. I only use solid copper on the exhaust gasket.

I've heard that the copper gaskets are prone to leaking even with the use of a sealer. In some book I read, it said that copper head gaskets should only be used for racing engines.
