351C Aluminum Heads
 

I am looking for a supplier and cost $$ for a set of aluminum 351 C heads. Does anyone have an email link for such an item. I did post under-- Parts Wanted-- but No replies. I have serched AFR and such places. I know most of you will be asking why a C engine instead of a W.

Yep....that's why you use a Windsor block and Yates heads.....just like the Winston Cup teams.

There are some new aluminum Cleveland heads made in Australia that are not overly expensive. Not sure what they are called. Go to Network 54 "335 Series Forum" and ask around there.
The Pantera guys can help too. The Yates heads can be used with a few mods but not sure what they are. That might be better than using a station wagon (Windsor) engine. :D

CHI and AFD are the manufacturers of the Australian 351C aluminum
heads. The bare CHI heads are $1500, assembled are $2200. They will
need to be ported for race use.

There are variety of heads that can be used on a 351C block with various
degrees of dificulty:

Ford Experimental Trans Am aluminum 4V cylinder heads
Ford Motorsport High Port family (A3, B351, C302, etc.)
Ford Motorsport Yates family (C3L, C3, C3H, etc.)
Ford Motorsport SCI
Blue Thunder
Brodix-Neal BF200 series
Brodix BF300 series
Cylinder Head Innovations 3V
Air Flow Dynamics 2V
Edelbrock Victor (Windsor head that can be adpated)
Bennet canted valve cylinder head

I keep a detailed database on aluminum 351C heads due to the complexity
of interchange issues. Some of the heads require special intakes and
headers due to revise port locations. Others require pistons with revised
valve notches. Others require rockershaft systems, etc. It might help if
I knew what you have now and what you intend to do with the engine. I
might even have a set of heads available.

I'll have a set of Motorsport A3 heads 351C avail for sale next week.These heads have E-2 casting numbers, early yates style?
They have the raised exhaust ports etc.. totaly complete, they include:

Titanium intake valves
Stainless exhaust valves
Dbl. valve springs
titanium retainers
c/moly screw in studs
Comp cams stainless roller rockers
3/8 guide plates
3/8 pushrods

Matching Roush/ Motorsport A351 single plane intake for 9.5 deck blocks. glassbeaded and clear powdercoat.
this combo will work with 351w or 351c with 9.5 deck ht.

Custom headers for this combo in a 1968 mustang.

All of these parts will be avail next week , look for them on ebay. I should have many pictures and much more info.

These heads and intake are awesome for circle track, drag racing, or serious street use.
