Bolts for thermostat housing

I want to replace my chrome thermostat housing with a cast unit that has the nipple fixed instead of the loose screw in bypass nipple on the Ford chrome peice. Can anyone suggest where I can get the appropriate bolts for the thermostat housing? What thread and length are they, and what material would you recommend?

ARP

How about stainless ARP carb studs, they work well for this application.

#12 metric wrench... I own one set of wrenches. Period....
Had to go buy a set of metric wrenches because of that stupid bolt on that chrome housing....I thank God he made mechanics ...

5/16 x 1"-1 1/4" long coarse thread. Each manifold is a little different on thread depth. You can use grade 8 bolts from the hardware store or get the ARP products previously mentioned.
