Victor Junior head skimming
I need to get some 64cc Edelbrock Victor Junior heads for Small Block Chevy down to 58cc. Anybody know if they can take it and what ammount needs to be skimmed.
Thanks Guys Mike. |
Mikey B,
Here is a site that answers your question if you do the math. ( http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/982/ ) I think you will need to angle mill towards intake side to gain quickest CC vol. This angle will then create intake to head leaks if not careful. Try the new Aluminum center bolt Vette heads, they are 58 CC and have a high velocity on runners but do have lower runner vol. They are cheap and easy to find. |
