Hi
Im a newbie. I dont own a cobra, but i do own 2 mustangs, 88 hatch, 89 coupe...............both streetable drag cars..............both motors and trannys out gettin redone for the winter, changin some stuff................i want to put an exhaust like a shelby cobra, side pipes................can it be done?? how do i do it?? where do i get the headers to do so?? and the side pipes? any help would be appreciative....................i just like that look

Most are made to the car. Check around in your area for a specialty shop that can hook you up.

I would suspect most good exhaust shops should be able to do a custom exhaust for you.
You should also check with www.corral.net I'm sure someone there has done what you're looking for.

Rochester NY, thanks for ur info,I will check around here but we dont have any exhaust specialty shops, ill start with the basics, Cole, Monroe, Midas, or Kost.......................gracias.......I saw a Cobra kit the other day is what hit me to do this, it was nice silver with white stripes, 427 logos but it was a fuel injected 5.0 i was impressed with the sound and the power when he took off, but then again, I run 13.0 flat in the quarter with a 1.9 60ft on street tires with a completely stock 5.0 and my cars are dismantled for the winter so i could have been in horsepower envy |
