Aluminum 351 Cleveland
I have finished building up an all-aluminum 351C. I bought the heads years ago, and the block last summer. The heads are Ford Motorsport "B3" high-port aluminum. The block is a 60's vintage Ford 351C casting. I have never seen one of these before, but hear stories they may have been used in Trans-Am racing and maybe drag-racing, too.
I figured that my pension wasn't up to a full-blown blueprint-and-dyno job, so I decided to go another route - I made it into a display engine for my Carroll Shelby Hall of Fame. That's nice but I'd think of a better use for that bad boy. Some big Boss cast exhaust manifolds would look good too. Very cool display motor! John |
