Coil opinions?
Hey all- I think I need to replace my coil on my Windsor stroker motor (old one gushed oil when I pulled coil wire off %/ )...
and I'm wondering- has anyone tried any of the "epoxy-filled" coils meant for high-vibration environments? My coil mounts to the intake manifold, so that sounds like a good match... Are the cooling capabilities of the oil-filled type more important? Also- what brands do people like? I was considering a Pertronix... thanks! Russ R |
I am running the black MSD Vibration Proof coil and have been for several years. No problems with it at all.

Crane PS-91, and similar Accel work just fine.
