I would say reverse, it needs to turn CCW to work.

Jim,
This may be a little late. That pump is definetly a standard.

Jim;
The pump turns CCW when viewed from the front of the eng.
It impeller vanes (cheap/stock sheetmetal) are just like the one that SA installed on mine.
I replaced mine with an Edlebrock($150) and my car ran 20 deg cooler and the empeller was a nice machined unit that looked very high quality.
I'm assuming your still running hot; it it only when running slow? and normal at 50 mph?

I would have to agree with the standard pump, not a reverse rotation. From the circuits in the pump, I would have to go that way. If I'm not mistaken, the reverse rotation pumps have a larger diameter bolt pattern on the pulley, making it not accept a regular pulley.

:D Hay Jim
Looks Like a standard rotation pump. Theres a web site
flowkooler.com a company that manufactures cooling
system products. Go to the tech section about water pumps.
Good luck !
