And Jack doesn't have a single Cleveland for sale on his website. For a semi purist Pantara these things make sense, 351W's just look funny sitting in there. It's just way less expensive to do a stroker W for the power per dollar. |
That's it!!! Someone put a nailhead Buick in a cobra so I don't
have the least desirable engine out there. It sure would be boring to me if everyone had a windsor based or for that matter an FE in a cobra. Nothing wrong with any of those but we are talking a budget build. Can understand why professional engine builders are not interested but how many of us are professional engine builders. No wait, someone put a flathead in one. THat would really tilt the deck. WHatever works for the individual, ay what? |
Hm, maybe you can use my Edelbrock intake and Holley carb for your 351/400 M.

351C, 351M and 400
Here is a link that has good information about the 351M and how is is related to the 351C and 400.

"And for heads, the heads that Jon Kaase used to WIN the Engine Masters Challenge bolt right on. The worlds best heads won't bolt onto your windsor, but they will a 400."
Why not? Bore and bolt spacing are the same. If this is so then I'd better go yank the 4V Cleveland heads off of my Windsor block that I've had running for the last 14 years! Steve |
The missing link!
